Our sorrows are shared with you this Jan. Our mothers are both peaceful and precious in the hands of their Lord. The have been reunited with the loves of their life and we are both comforted that there is no more pain or sorrow. David and I will keep you and your family in our prayers and we ask that you please do the same for us. Keep precious memories in your sight and remember to smile at those remembrances our Mamas would have smiled about, also. Love you, Ruth

Just over thirty-nine years ago I met this lovely lady, On March 8, 1980 she became my Mother-In-Law. She showed me more love than I deserved but greatly appreciated. She would go a mile for me and I would go two for her. I have seen the people she has ministered to when they were sick or suffering a loss. Mrs. Spivey had a special way of being there for people when they were in need. I consider myself blessed to have known and loved her. I wish I knew who was telling the most jokes right now, Mr or Mrs Spivey.
